Winter fun at Morton Arboretum

Morton Arboretum

Outdoor fun can be found at the Morton Arboretum all year round. The Arboretum is a great way to shake off the winter doldrums.  Trees and plants from around the world fill this 1,700 acre living museum. There are hiking trails, an open air tram system, and a gift shop.  It is a great way to get some exercise and take in the beautiful terrain.

Remember to dress for the weather. The nine miles of roads are paved, and the trails are wood chipped.  If you forget anything the gift shop is there to help you out.
